John Michael Talbot is an exceptional musician who incorporates a down to earth simplistic approach to his music. Yet there is something more about him. He is a prophet in our day. It is God's Spirit which sends him forth to preach, teach and to heal through the ministry of song. His words are not his own; they come from the Holy One who has called him for this special purpose. I encourage everyone who listens to his music to do so while in the spirit of prayer. All glory be to God.

As I stated earlier, this is great music. I got this cd to replace my record album purchased in the mid-eighties. But, curiously, I just noticed the instrumental "Mount Alverna" is not included. Anyone know why?

John Michael Talbot is by far my favorite christian artist; he keeps his music in the mood of praise while still keeping it talented and catchy. He's a awsome guitarist and singer, he can be prayerful in a serene surrounding of music or upbeat and worshipfull (such as in MonkRock)
